It is important that we in Virginia continue to uphold the standards already enacted to provide regulatory controls over abortion clinics and procedures. Since an abortion in a medical procedure why would we not want to afford patients the same level of protection we mandate for hospitals and other medical facilities. These regulations dont prohibit abortions but rather simply require a level of oversight and protection to ensure the safety of the patients. Failure to provide such protections would be criminal in my mind. David Morrow
