I whole heartedly support the new health and safety standards for abortion clinics. They are performing outpatient surgery and should meet these reasonable and necessary standards. Women have a right to know that they will receive quality, safe care; and, first rate life support in the event of an emergency. The abortion industry should embrace these standards as medical professionals. I find it suspect why any of them or their employers would oppose these necessary standards. SFC (Ret) Charles G. Kerns
