I feel abortion is a very private, personal decision that should be decided between patient and physician. Government regulation has no business coming between them; the current architectural standards for abortion clinics, crafted to ensure "medical safety", are patently prejudicial to this one type of outpatient procedure. If medical safety is the overriding issue, than ALL outpatient clinics should follow the same strict standards...dental and plastic surgeiesy, colonoscopy, opthomalogy, etc. Otherwise, if less architecturally rigorous standards are OK for them, they should be sufficient for women's clinics. In this case, I say less government in private, personal lives should be the goal of the Commonwealth.
