Protect Virginia girls and women

The current regulations seem to be the minimum needed to protect the health and safety of girls and women who seek abortions in our Commonwealth.  While it may be true that not every woman and girl who visits a facility where abortions are performed is there for an abortion, those who are certainly should at least have the protection of the safe and sanitary conditions required of other surgical centers. It is unconscionable to eliminate or reduce safety standards to promote a political agenda, or for reasons of "economy".  I strongly support at least the retaining of current regulations, and request your consideration for the health and safety of girls and women who could be harmed by your allowing current regulations to be repealed or weakened.
