Repeal these regulations

These regulations need to be completely repealed--and new ones written--to ensure that Virginia's women and families receive the wide range of health services offered by clinics.  For some women, this is their main or only source of health services and the current regulations would mean the shuttering of some vital health services.  I agree that sensible regulations are required to ensure the safety of patients and staff, but the current restrictions are motivated by politics, not health care.  I am personally concerned about how these regulations restrict Virginia women's access to needed services, thereby limiting their ability to follow-through on good choices about their own health.  It seems like these regulations, which will close some clinics and services, endanger women's health.  Too many women depend on local access to health services, like screenings and doctor visits, and these regulations make it more difficult to get to local support they need.  Please get rid of these onerous regulations and consider the needs of Virginia's women and families instead of politics.
