Targeted Regulations Against Abortion Providers (TRAP)

The current TRAP regulations are offensive to the women of Virginia.  Regulators and legislators have applied their religious, and personal beliefs to an area of health that must be left to women and their health providers, but ultimately to women alone.

Unfortunately those who have imposed these rules do so for political reasons, not for patient safety because doctors, health care professionals, and a majority of Virginians oppose them.

The Virginia Board of Health must completely repeal and then rewrite the current regulations of women's health centers to protect women’s health and preserve comprehensive reproductive health care. 

Finally, and very importantly, the constitutions of Virginia and the United States of America bestow rights and freedoms that also include women.  TRAP wantonly denies those to us.
