Maintain Essential Abortion Center Health and Safety Regulations.  When initial inspections by public health officials revealed more than 80 violations of unsafe and unsanitary conditions, the issue was studied thoroughly. These standards, which were already debated widely and passed by both the Virginia Senate and House of Delegates, need to be upheld.  We must keep these standards to protect women against the poor quality of abortion clinics that have existed in the Commonwealth in the past.
