The record of abortion centers re: safety is appalling. During inspections over the last few years inspectors have found blood splattered exam tables and equipment, unsterilized equipment, poorly or untrained staff, violations of state parental consent laws, the lack of reporting of possible cases of child sexual abuse, along with over 300 other violations through Department of Health inspections.To subject women of Virginia to such unsafe and rogue practices in the presence of a $1 billion industry while the lives of women seeking care are not only in jeopardy but are lost is absolutely unconscionable. This is not health care. This is taking advantage of women and putting their lives in danger. You have the authority and responsibility to right this wrong. John and Janet Phillips
