Uphold Standards, Protect Women

Board of Health,

If you are Christians, you must know abortion is not what Jesus intends for us to do with human life.If you believe in another deity or are atheist, you must feel that life is precious, all life. Americans protect the smallest creatures, the trees, lakes, streams and oceans. We must also stand and protect those that cannot protect themselves. Unborn children, who, through no fault of their own, were conceived into the World.Although I do not believe any abortion is "OK", I do know that I cannot control the people of the US, I can only pray for them. That said, please at the very least protect the women that feel forced to make these decisions by giving them a clean and safe environment. The Commonwealths previously passed laws protect women, they do not unfortunately protect unborn children. We are not stopping abortion, we are not stopping the industry (unfortunately and yet) but we are appealing to you to keep these women safe by providing reasonable health and safety standards and requirements. If you take the time to read National statistics, and read about some of these places, you will see that this is very necessary. If Planned Parenthood, and the other abortion mills who claim to be so concerned about women really are, then they would voluntarily have the highest safety standards possible for their patients. Wouldnt they" Money wouldnt be the issue, womens health would be. Right"Please let Virginia remain a beacon for all women and their health by protecting them in this vital way.I pray for all of you, for all the children who are conceived by their parents only to be killed for convenience, and for the Moms and Dads who felt this horrific decision was necessary.Thank you for your service to our Commonwealth and for your serious consideration. Lisa Faleskie
