We are thankful that some meaningful standards are in place in Virginia to provide some assurances to women that they can expect at least the minimum safety and concern for their lives and health when using abortion clinics or facilities.Unfortunately, inspections have revealed the standards are, in many cases, treated very casually, with the result that women receive care that is far below that which can be called safe and/or healthy.It is our fervent prayer that the minimum standards in place for treatment facilities will be retained, and that responsible inspections be performed.
