I have reviewed the proposed regulation on a preliminary basis, and I approve its advancement to the next stage for the purpose of soliciting public comment.  I am particularly interested in the views from the public on whether the increase in continuing education hours is (1) necessary and (2) will have a beneficial impact that outweighs any potential costs on the regulated community, particularly since the need for behavior analysts is increasing.
