Although I do not use this technology in my practice, and I rarely make any kind of impression, this technology is being taught in all of our dental schools, and has become an accepted standard of care procedure.  Changing the practice of dentistry regulations to match what is now a common procedure throughout the United States is reasonable and necessary.
