Description This regulation provides rules for the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program in Virginia. The Virginia Department of Social Services is the Lead Agency for the CCDF. The purpose of the Child Care and Development Fund is to increase the availability, affordability and quality of child care services

Federal Authority Child Care and Development Block Grant of 1990 as amended by the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act of 1996 (Public Law 104-193) and the Balanced Budget Act of 1997 (Public Law PL 105-33).
