This Policy Fails to Address Violent White Nationalists

As someone who was assaulted by white nationalists in Charlottesville and has spent the past 5 years monitoring the activies of white nationalists in central Virginia, I can assure you that this does nothing to address violent white nationalists when they decide to march on Monument Ave. Preventing weapons on the grounds does not prevent a white nationalist militia from forming on the city mantained sidewalks and mediums. These regulations only work to prevent anti-racists from expressing how they feel about the statues. I ask that you do not implement these regulations.

Arbitrary

Please expolain why this regualtion does not apply to all Commonwealth-owned property.

Should the same rules not apply to any statue or recognized place that could be construed by any group as to being offensive?  Why does this not apply to buldings built by persons of forced servitude, memorials for people who owned slaves, people who expressed bigoted views of LGBT peoples or people of color, etc?

It is apparently arbitrary that the regualtion is only applicable to one particular property/ memorial.
