VA SWM Regulation Revisions

My review of the proposed changes in the Stormwater Management regulations indicated to me that the new technical criteria will create a significant financial burden on the development community and the broader Virginia economy.  These changes to the technical criteria give the presence that they are strictly serving the agenda of the environmental activist community.  These proposed changes need to be curbed WAY BACK from the current proposal to exhibit some balance between cost and benefit.  There also appears to be a significant lack of consideration towards effectiveness of much of the new criteria, and additional input from the development community would yield a much more balanced regulation that the industry will support, and ultimately, embrace.

DO NOT adopt these changes to the Stormwater Management regulations until the indusctry stakeholders have had an opportunity to improve these technical criteria!
