pass the storm water regulations!!!

I moved to the Valley over 20 years ago and live on the North Fork of the Shenandoah River.  When I moved here, you could see the rocks in the river and they were covered with small creatures.  Now you cannot see them because they are covered with silt.  The creatures are gone, I never knew what they were.  I support strengthening the stormwater regulations to improve water quality in the Commonwealth.  This is a good start, but there needs to be more done, too.  I support the adoption of the proposed development design criteria limiting runoof from developed and developing land to 0.28 pounds of phosphorus per acre.  Regulations that support smart growth development strategies do not provide disincentives for redeveloping previoiusly developed land or high density projects in more  urban areas.  After you have finished this, see if you can do something about getting the farmers to keep their cows out of the river.
