Support of new Virginia stormwater regulations

I am in support of the proposed stormwater regulations.  The new regulations emphasize standards for phosphorus and runoff volume – these standards are critical and necessary if we ever hope to cleanup the Chesapeake Bay and our state waters.  Another effective way to avoid future increases in polluted runoff is to stop all new development.  In lieu of this happening, these regulations are the best tool available right now to significantly reduce stormwater pollution from developed/developing lands.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Allen
