Legistlation that threatens to punish counselors for working with children to overcome unwanted sexual orientation is absurd! If a minor wants help for unwanted sexual attraction or gender identity, then he or she should be able to get it. Research demonstrates that this type of therapy does work. Prohibiting  professional counselors from giving clients the type of help people seek is an overstep of government.
