As a physical therapist of 26 years as well as a massage therapist of 20 years and as a patient recipient of highly effective dry needing I believe that it is an excellent and safe, highly efficient strategy to normalize localized  muscle spasm.    I agree with the requirement of advanced specific training in order to perform dry needling.
