Regulations Are Essential For Women's Health and Safety

Abortion center regulations are essential for the health and safety of VA women.  Rather than weaken the limited regulation that are currently in place, stronger regulations must be maintained and enforced.  Repeatedly local governemnet and independent inspections continue to find serious deficiencies in abortion facility inspections.  The abortion industry has fought regulation for years, and are not able to self-regulate.  If abortion centers are to be considered as healthcare providers, they must be required to adhere to the same regulatory standards and laws as other state healthcare facilities.  VA should not make exceptions due to abortion providers' lobbying.

Please ensure the health and safety of all woman by maintaining and enforcing health care regulations on abortions centers and providers.
