Protecting women

This is a straightforward issue.

An abortion is a medical procedure. It involves using tools to penetrate a woman's body, create bleeding, remove tissue and a growing potential human being, while at the same time opening that person up to the possible complications of hemorrhage, infection, uterine perforation, deep venous thrombosis and psychological trauma.

If a person's choice comes to abortion, she should have all the protection of standard medical regulations regarding the providers, the equipment, the facilities and the insurance.
