Conversion therapy is wrong and very harmful to any persons who are subjected to it. This is not an opinion, as conversion therapy has been shown to result in negative mental health. As sexual orientation has been taken out of the mental illness classification, conversion therapy should not still be going on. Being transgender, gender queer, or gender fluid is equally not a mental illness and therefore not to be “cured” by conversion therapy.  Conversion therapy is cruel and wrong.
