Please ensure protection for the safety of women and their unborn children. Abortion is not the answer to unwanted pregnancy for anyone. Instead of loosening of regulations regarding abortion procedures, there must be more focus on alternatives to abortion. Abortion is a medical surgery that ends the life of a child and has the potential to not only harm the physical health of the woman undergoing it but also cause damage to her mental and emotional health far into the future; this could cause ongoing complications and additional health care. It is not the appropriate answer. As a voting citizen I demand strong regulations to ensure safety for all women.
