An abortion is surgery.
Surgeries require clean, regulated environments.
Surgeries have complications for which the facility must be prepared.
I'm an EMT, and if we can't get a patient to the ambulance because a facility does not meet medical standards (sufficiently wide hallways), everyone loses.
If the facility is dirty or ill-prepared to deal with a medical emergency, they should not be granted a license.
Kindly hold abortion clinics to the same high medical standards that we require of every other outpatient surgical procedure facility.
Thank you.
