Abortion Regulations

While I personally do not agree with abortions for reasons other than possibly incest or medical difficulties, it is a fact that abortion is legal and these clinics exist. I believe that the clinics should have the same regulations, or more stringent, as other medical facilities. It is important for the mother to have the safest and cleanest experience as possible provided to her. If regulations are allowed to be loose and lax, these abortion clinics will provide bare minimum services. Whatever situation brought a mother to choose this option to end a life, it is the medical facility’s job to conduct the procedure safely and for the environment to be sterile and informative.

If not provided already, these facilities should inform these mothers of other options, such as adoption, and offer resources such as women’s centers and counseling services.

Thank you for your consideration.
