Science, NOT Ideology.

Pro-choice does not equal pro-abortion. It means I believe a woman has the right to choose what happens with her body.

I have come find that more often than not, pro-life = pro-birth. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be so many children suffering in the world, being abused and neglected, going hungry, living in orphanages, etc.

No one is ever happy about having an abortion, it’s not a joyful event. Sometimes it’s medically necessary. Sometimes women don’t have access to basic healthcare, such as getting birth control. Laws like these just make it more and more difficult. These TRAP laws will not stop abortion. Banning abortion altogether WILL NOT stop it from happening. It will just make it a lot more dangerous for the women desperate enough to try to abort their pregnancies themselves. These laws are NOT about protecting women. These laws are about controlling women and taking away their bodily autonomy.

There is supposed to be a separation of church and state - your religion, whatever it may be (although it’s mostly people who call themselves Christian that are for this sort of thing), should have no bearing over what another woman chooses to do. There should be NO laws based on any one religion’s beliefs. I don’t have the right to dictate what another woman can or can’t do, and I don’t believe our government has that right either, period.

Put an end to this nonsense, and protect women and their rights.
