Support carbon reductions for Virginia

It is pretty sad that climate change is such a partisan issue. As such it is impossible for republicans to act rationally on this issue. Without legislation we must rely on DEQ to do what they can and should be doing anyway under the clean air act.

RGGI is tested and proven in 9 NE states, so that would be a good way for Virginia to go. The RGGI system both caps carbon emissions ans uses the power of the market to reduce emissions. So, this would be a safe way for Virginia to move.
