Clean Energy Virginia Initiative

I am writing in support of Governor McAuliffe's Executive Directive 11 to reduce carbon pollution in our commonwealth.  It is important for Virginia to support the development of clean forms of energy such as solar, wind and tidal projects.  By reducing carbon emissions we can reverse the heating up of the Earth's atmosphere.  The burning of dirty coal and other fossil fuels powered the last century, but it is time for Virginia to join other states and other countries in developing the new energy technologies of the future. Embracing the trend toward clean energy will be good for our economy and good for the health of our planet.
