No dry needling

Incidences of Injuries by acupuncture needles is increasing due to PTs performing dry needling without the proper education. If dry needling is needed, PTs should refer to an acupuncturist since dry needling is acupuncture, and seeing an acupuncturist is the safest and most professional route for the patient. Even the American Medical Association is recommending that patients see an acupuncturist as opposed to a PT.
