Dry needling by physical therapists who are not licensed acupuncturists is and should be unlawful. This serves to remind regulating agencies of health professions that protecting the public is one of their primary aims and to allow physical therapists to practice a medical technique (specifically so-called dry needling, which is unadmittedly acupuncture) of a medical system that they are not trained in and not board certified IS WRONG.
