To learn how to properly use an acupuncture needle takes at least 4 years of training.  To allow Physical Therapists to use them after a weekend workshop endangers the therapist and their patients.  I have had countless patients who have been bruised and one who's trapezius muscle was damaged by a physical therapist using dry needling.  Protect physical therapists from hurting their practices and patients, leave the needles to the experts, Acupuncturists.
