Do Not Allow PT's to Needle, it is Outside of their Scope

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist in California.  I underwent over 3000 hours of training and over 750 hours of suppervised clinical training before I was then tested vogorously by a state, and a national licensing agency and given a legal license to be able to put needles in people without supervision.  Acupuncture is an ancient medicine, with not only theretical nuances, but safety and anatomical nuances that need to be understood in order to be affective and safe.  It is an insult that another profession with a whole different scope of training can take a weekend class and be able to use needles on paying people who have no idea that they are not only being jipped by substandard treatment, but also being put in danger by sub-trained practitioners.  Please, do not legalize PT's using acupuncture needles, or "dry needling".

Thank you for reading,
