No to Dry Needling! Dry Needling is Acupuncture!

As a Registered Nurse in the state of NY I saw the incredible benefit that acupuncture brought to the lives and wellness of patients including myself. When I embarked on learning Chinese Medicine I could not believe the complexity of this medicine. The theory and practice was so different from Western medicine that it was extremely difficult to understand coming from a western medical perspective. It took many years of education and training to gain minimal competency. There were even physicians in my class who decided not to take the abbreviated version allowed because they felt they would not understand the practice of Acupuncture any other way. I cant imagine that anyone would be allowed to practice this amazing intricate and complex medicine without first attaining the knowledge that is behind it. It would be irresponsible for the healthcare governing bodies to allow such a practice. It is simply not safe.

Respectfully,
