Stay Focused to Ensure Safety & Maximize Benefits of the Public - Oppose DN by PT

I am sure PTs have gotten great educations on anatomy, and are the experts on muscularseletal system.  I would not hesitate to go look for a PT's help if I injure myself and need to recover to my usual physical strength.  However, needling into triggering points with acupuncture needles has been done by acupuncturists for over two thousand years in China, so acunpunturists should be the experts on using acupuncture needles.  Moreover, the needling is done with the guidence of Traditional Chinese Medicine theories, which is completely different from western medicine.  I would not go to a PT for needling with acupuncture needles.  Each profession has their own specialty, and needs to stay focused for the sake of public safety and also maximize the benefits of the public by becoming the experts in their area (instead of being the Jack-of-all-trades).
