Dry needling is safe when provided by a PT

Physical therapists have proven track records when it comes to the application of safe dry needling technique. Physical therapists have extensive training in anatomy and physiology.  They are the most qualified non-physician providers to perform dry needling because of their knowledge.   Anyone trying to inhibit PT's use of dry needling is doing so for economic reasons and not for reasons regarding patient safety.  There are no studies that prove PT's to be unsafe with dry needling.
