Trigger Point Dry Needling

As a patient having a chronic case of bursitis in my left heel, I have found the performance of TPDN to provide relief that was not afforded by traditional physical therapy (PT) methods. I had previously suffered from bursitis in my right heel as well, and traditional PT worked to resolve that issue. However, the left heel affliction which occured approximately one year after the right heel, did not respond to the exact same therapy that cured the right heel. After continually performing the requisite exercises/stretches, the left heel remained a constant source of pain after jogging and/or hiking. A podiatrist specifically recommended TPDN as an alternative to the traditional PT and the decrease in the pain I have experienced is dramatic. I'm definitely Pro-TPDN as performed by trained Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT).
