No acupuncture license, no practice dry needling.

Shame! Shame! Shame! 

PTs should stop the infringement act immediately. 

This is the legal issue in the US. Of course, dry needling works because it is one type of hundreds of acupuncture techniques performed by licensed acupuncturist in their daily practice. PTs should stop the infringement act immediately. Please change the name of dry needling back to Acupuncture. Dry needling is Acupuncture. We encourage the people who has Acupuncture license to perform needle insertion. It is both shame and illegal to practice acupuncture without acupuncture license.  Please check the legal defination of Acupuncturist and Physical Therapist and their scope of practice.
