Dry Needling

Dry Needling performed by Physical Therapist is safe and effective in the treatment of musckuloskeletal disorders. The incidence rate is less than 0.1% when performed by PT's (Shows they are safe with the treatment); their education in anatomy, pathology, physiology, biomechanics and palpation gives them the education needed to be able to supply this procedure to patients.

It is used to treat trigger points, not acupuncture points as alluded to by our accupuncture colleages.  The use of the same tools by multiple professions occurs elsewhere.  There is no factual reason to not allow this bill to pass.
