YES, allow PT's to dry needle

Dry needling is well withing the scope of properly trained PT's and should be allowed to be a continued modality for PT treatment.  Arguments over economic turf should not be confused with patient safety or therapeutic value. The anatomy training of PT's basic education is vast and further supplemented by proper dry needling certification training. This background helps PTs stay safe in the delivery of this treatment technique. The needle is a tool used by different professions and is not owned by any one profession.

Please consider the reality of many of these opposition statements: economics vs. reality.  Patient choice of health care options benefit patients and the public.

Thank you.
