I have experienced dry needling by a physical therapist and I beleive that it is a necessary intervention that PT's can use in their toolbox. The way of thinking is completely different then an acupunturist and when new grads come into the work force we have a majority of the information to appropriately dry needle. I beleive that dry needling should have a small continuing education class but not the supervision hours that exist now.
