We agree as acupuncturists that dry needling is very effective; but since licensed acupuncturists are the experts in this practice, we should be given the disignation of PT in regard to this practice.   Since we know what we are doing; have been trained in this practice and have the experience in doing so, it makes sense:  give us the designation to perform this treatment as we are the true specialists in the field.....
