I agree that there needs to be changes in the amount of time Clinicians can see clients during MHSS sessions, but I do not agree with the disallowance of 3 unit sessions.  There have been several instances where it is beneficial to schedule two doctors’ appointments (45 minutes away from client’s home) to prevent doing two 3hour/2unit sessions. Living in a rural area the clients have not been successful with utilizing Medicaid Transportation.  I have also had several instances where doctors have been running behind by as much as 1.5 hours causing our scheduled 3-hour session to turn into a 5-hour session.  Please consider limiting 5 hour sessions without eradicating them entirely.
