W have too few physical therapists now, and their training is often inadequate.  Things will not get better by adding possible duties, especially without adequate training.  It takes years of training and practice to interact with a patient and help him/her with accupuncture.  It is illegal for Physical therapist to use acupuncture needle to practice " dry needling", andn they should not be emcouraged to by-pass the law.  It is irresponsible for untrained physical therapists to practice acupuncture with the name of "dry needling".   This is also a public safety issue!
