Protect my rights so I can protect myself and my family

I am Active Duty Military stationed in Minot, ND. I own a home and property in VA and will return there after I retire from the military. I have a VA CC permit that I was able to use in ND and for many of the states that I have to travel to get back to VA and other states I frequent such as PA, OH, and SC but now I will have to apply for a CC permit for ND because I have lost my reciprocity here as well as these other states. This is just insane to me that this is happening. I am disgusted that for 19 years I have served my country, have been a responsible gun owner who travels a lot and participates in many outdoor activities and this right has been taken from me. It is my right per the 2nd Amendment and my desire to protect myself and my family. Now, I virtually have to get a permit from every state that I want to visit, travel to or through. I also have a Top Secret clearance and work around Nuclear Weapons which still does not seem to hold any weight and you are still able to take this freedom from me.  I have served to try and keep the freedoms of this country and uphold the constitution just to watch them be ripped away by you and your party’s anti-gun agenda. If there is a time for people to stand up it is now. What you have done will not make Virginia a safer place but has made it less free. I will be sending a FOIA request to find out exactly just how many crimes were committed by out of state holders. My guess is that it is slim to none and that is why you would not answer that question when asked. Nonetheless, if someone has the intent to commit a crime, that little piece of paper in their wallet will not make a difference. I will do everything in my power now and when I get back to VA to make sure you, McAuliffe, and any other politician that has intentions to take away the freedoms of the law abiding citizens are removed and/or never elected. You are a disappointment to me, the state of Virginia, and this great country that I have served. I cannot wait to get back there to join this fight.
