Barring Out-of-State Permit Holders

I experienced such a shenanigan in PA, my state of birth.  The result?  I no longer visit family or friends there.  This may seem silly at first blush, but consider this.  My wife and I are in our seventies.  We tow a RV trailer whereever we go.  While in a respectable park some five miles from my family a drug bust went down.  The state police and county sheriff armed to the teeth batterned in our neighbor's trailer (only the two vehciles were in the park) and apprehended an armed man and his female companion.  Meanwhile, we followed police commands to move to safer grounds (during our conversation I notified the cop that I was armed and he said, "Good, you never know when you need one."  The PA AG did the same thing to PA that VA's AG has done to VA.  Virginia is an open carry state.  I hope everyone starts doing just that.
