It is a public safety issue! It is illegal for physical therapist to bypass the acupuncture law and use acupuncture needles to practice "dry needling".  In fact, dryneedling is acupuncture. Anybody who use acupuncture needles needs to pass acupuncture examination from national agency NCCAOM.
