The most important document ever written is the Constitution of the United States of America. It is with a broken heart that I watch our government destroy it's foundation. It is by this document that you even exist. I stand to plead that you hold fast my legal right to be a gun owner. I am a law abiding, single, white woman who has taken classes in gun safety. It is not the gun that kills, but people. The government has taken prayer out of schools which opens the door for evil to prevail. Now you want to take away my defense. You have studies as to the safety of unarmed vs armed citizens and know full well violence is less in societies that are armed. At some point this government will so corrode the Constitution that even your positions will be in question for we are at a brink of making it ineffective.Lastly and most importantly,the Constitution protects our freedoms of choice. It does not say to recognize God by a certain religious faith. It protects our rights to worship as we wish. This governing body has already so confused the people into thinking this means Christianitywhich it does not. I am a Christian, but have friends of many faiths. We all agree that we treasure our freedoms protected by the Constitution!
