Hello, I am a therapist who has invested money and time into post graduate education of the dry needling treatment intervention. It is a highly valued service by my patients who have benefitted. It is part of a comprehensive treatment plan including prescriptive exercise, soft tissue manipulation, and joint mobilization. I do not see how one treatment modality can be singled out as being "owned" by another group. Could this same logic then be applied that physical therapists "own " exercise and exclude all others ? I think not. Please not not limit physical therapist scope of practice. Thank you.
