The citizens who are granted concealed carry permits are vetted and not a threat to any law abiding person. To deny the the constitutional right of self defense and defense of others, defies the intent of the permit and their right to self defense. Can you state a case of a licensed concealed carry permitee committing a crime in a government  building with their firearm? This is trying to fix something that is not broken.
