Gun Ban in Executive branch state agencies

Creating another gun free zone simply sets up another area for criminals to attack as these are the places for which they are looking. The ban simply takes away the right of law abiding citizens to defend  themselves in case of attack. This type of decision should not be the right of any single individual, whether the Governor or the President, to make in the first place. Bring it to the floor in the General assembly and let our representatives vote on it if a decision of this nature is to be made.  If the Governor truly believes the state agencies should be gun free, he needs to do away with his armed protective detail to set an example.
